The School House Farmers children visited Half Acre residential home to share a sneaky peek of their Christmas Nativity. The elderly residents loved the costumes and the children loved showing them off equally as much! This experience teaches the children good communication/interaction skills and builds confidence when talking to the older generation.
The children talked with the residents about their roles in the Nativity and their families at home. We were so sad to say goodbye as the Farmers were in a very chatty/cuddly mood – which the residents definitely appreciated!
On the way back to nursery the Farmers told us they can’t wait to go again, and neither can we.
