One of the older children brought their favourite story ‘The Highway Rat’ in from home to share, and they decided to watch the short video.
From this they made their own ‘WANTED’ posters and practiced their writing skills. They also made their own masks and role-played the story book with their friends.
From this the children were able to discuss behaviour, and said it wasn’t nice how the Rat made his friends feel, so they decided it was important to have some rules in nursery and to make sure they are kind to their friends.
