Redvales children were very lucky last Friday and it’s all to do with a policeman named Greg. As he was walking past the nursery he noticed one of the boys was dressed as a police officer.
Greg bought his police car to nursery and let the children sit inside it and use the flashing lights and sirens.
They were given handcuffs to try on and shown a baton, and staff took lots of photographs.
Greg arranged a second visit to nursery where he will bring equipment for the children to take their own finger prints!
This has given the children a great sense of their local community and people who help us, and parents have reported the children have not stopped talking about Greg!
