At Fisherfield Childcare we understand the needs of busy parents and appreciate your priority to provide the best care setting for your child at our children’s nurseries. We are proud and honoured to have cared for over 8,000 children since 1996.
We will always aim to be the best and take great care to ensure children:
We own and manage all of our seven nurseries with a personal touch. We ensure all nurseries are equipped to support the wide range of opportunities for children to develop in all aspects of their Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum including their preparation for school.
Fisherfield’s children’s nurseries offer AM or PM sessions as well as full day care for 51 weeks of the year. We work very closely with parents, in addition to the daily handover chats and newsletters we recently introduced iConnect which has been a great success. Parents have praised the ease of use and the delight of sharing the activities of their child anytime and anywhere.
iConnect is a digital learning journey application for each child and has many benefits. To find out more about iConnect & ParentZone click here
Each of our nurseries have their own unique animal logo according to the first letter of its name, as this will give them their own individual identity.
Fisherfield Childcare’s core values and principles;
We are very proud of our wonderful team for the care and devotion they give every day. We value and invest in all our nursery and pre-school staff with continuing professional development, and ensure all are trained in safeguarding and paediatric first aid. Our caring staff have the in-depth knowledge and understanding of children and how they develop and learn, to ensure they make good progress and enjoy their time at our children’s nurseries.
“Staff have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the children’s individual needs and provide a stimulating environment where all children are excited and motivated to learn. Observations of children are consistently used to plan for children’s individual next steps in learning. ….. Planning is flexible and adapted according to children’s interests as they happen. They develop their imagination well, with a wide range of creative opportunities.
“Young children develop a sense of self and make relationships as they spontaneously cuddle their friends and key person. Older children learn to take responsibility for managing their own needs, accessing toilets and drinks as required.” Ofsted Inspector Linda Shore
