Ever asked – How can I wish someone a Happy New Year in Chinese? “Gong hei fat choy” is the most common Chinese New Year greeting in Cantonese. It directly translates to “Wishing You Great Happiness and Prosperity.”
Lesson over, and much more fun, the children enjoyed lots of different types of Chinese food and celebrated Chinese New Year by creating a large dragon and dancing together to Chinese music. They had a fantastic time learning a little about Chinese culture.
